Aménagement d'un studio de 27 m² en y intégrant une entrée, une cuisine équipée, un espace chambre, un salon, des éléments de rangements et une salle de bain.
"
Intentions de Design pour cet espace
- Le client a fourni à l'agence un tableau de l'artiste peintre Yves Krief. L'oeuvre représentait un quartier fantôme telle qu'ils en existent aux abords des grandes villes américaines. Nous avons mis au centre de notre création cette oeuvre pour en faire une déclinaison dans l'espace.
- Pour séparer les volumes et pour symboliser le pont en acier du tableau, nous avons insérer dans le mur un élément d'arche de scène que nous avons importé des Pays-Bas.
- Notre objectif était de réussir à concevoir une cuisine complète dans une surface de 2m².
What's up? - The artistic inspirations of the agency
ST PATRON DES SUBVERSIFS
C’est en 1999 à New York que l'artiste Maurizio Cattelan se fait remarquer sur la scène internationale avec La Nona Ora (« la neuvième heure »), une statue de cire représentant un pape Jean-Paul II frappé par une météorite.
En 2002, sa sculpture "Him" joue sur l'effet de surprise : on y découvre une personne de dos, agenouillée, en plein recueillement; ce n’est qu’en en faisant le tour que l'on reconnaît Hitler. L'échelle renforce le décalage, puisque le Führer a la taille d’un enfant.
ESPACES CHARNIERES
JP Flavien | FRA | B. 1971 - Constituée de deux structures presque identiques, posées en biais et maintenues par une charnière centrale, la maison, intitulée Ballardian House, évoque les notions de doublement, de couplage, mais aussi de fendage…
Les deux parties constituent des éléments séparés mais liés : Alors qu'une partie de la maison est accessible et peut accueillir un habitant vivant, son double n'est habité que par une pierre.
RESISTANCE & TRADITION
Depuis 1994, l'artiste Ai Weiwei [B.1957] réalise des sculptures à partir d’objets chinois emblématiques : vélos, vases en porcelaine ou meubles de la dynastie Qing, révélant les contradictions d’une société partagée entre individualisme et collectivisme, tradition et modernité.
Connu internationalement pour son art qui se veut à la fois provocateur et politique, il est la figure de l'opposition au pouvoir et l'emblème de la liberté d'expression en Chine.
